Applicants to CPEHS – please note that our DIA percentage is 66%, not 75% as has been listed on MySchools. This change is in effect for this year’s round of admissions.

If you need a face to face letter
Q: Who will now be giving out face-to-face letters while schools are closed?
A: The parent should go to the nearest district office and show identification. The district office should get in touch with the principal, if possible, check parent identification, and then use ATS function SBIO to locate the student and then run the face to face RFTF function and print out the letter. Sign it on behalf of the principal and have the parent sign in their presence.

WE ARE

Community is an integral part of Central Park East HS, and we are committed to students' social and emotional well being, both in and out of the classroom. Not only does CPEHS embody the rich cultural diversity of New York City, but clubs such as Class of Consciousness, Green Team, Improv, and Anime provide rich extra-curricular experiences that foster social development and cultivate mutual respect. Students at CPEHS also give back to the school and the greater New York City area in myriad ways through programs such as Peer Group Connection, National Honor Society, Community Service Club, and Senior Internship.
