If you need a face to face letter

Q:  Who will now be giving out face-to-face letters while schools are closed?

A: The parent should go to the nearest district office and show identification.  The district office should get in touch with the principal, if possible, check parent identification, and then use ATS function SBIO to locate the student and then run the face to face RFTF function and print out the letter.  Sign it on behalf of the principal and have the parent sign in their presence.

CPEHS Academics

Academic excellence is deeply rooted in the culture of our school. Our committed team of educators ensure that all students at CPEHS are supported and have the skills they need to be successful in college and careers. Our academic program provides a wide range of accelerated courses that prepare our students for the most competitive colleges and universities including honors, Advanced Placement, and College Now classes.

CPEHS Community

Community is an integral part of Central Park East HS, and we are committed to students' social and emotional well being, both in and out of the classroom. Not only does CPEHS embody the rich cultural diversity of New York City, but clubs such as Class of Consciousness, Green Team, Improv, and Anime provide rich extra-curricular experiences that foster social development and cultivate mutual respect.  Students at CPEHS also give back to the school and the greater New York City area in myriad ways through programs such as Peer Group Connection, National Honor Society, Community Service Club, and Senior Internship.
